Wonderful stay!
And the hotel common areas and room were very clean and well-appointed with lots of personality derived from its history as a former newspaper publishing building. The hotel has a great, laid back "vibe". My queen studio had a full kitchen with everthing I needed to feel at home.
I highly recommend The Bee to any traveler. But note: it is not a "full-service" hotel. That is, it does not have a restaurant, there are no business support services, or even an ATM. If you don't critically need those things (and they're all close by), it makes for a wonderful, comfortable stay, and it was perfect for me.
