According to government policy, if guests cannot provide relevant documents (such as a travel permit issued by the police, hotel confirmation letter, company letter, flight ticket, ferry ticket, MITI letter, or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result issued within the past 48 hours), they may not be allowed to check in at the hotel. Cancellations will be subject to the hotel's policies and guidelines. According to government policy, If travelling by Air or Sea, all travelers (including children) must present a negative PRT-PCR or RTK-Antigen test result issued within 48 hours at the entry gate of the airport or ferry terminal before departure. According to government policy, any hotels that are open for staycations or any other travel purposes can only accept Malaysians and foreigners who live in Malaysia that are shown as low-risk on the MySejahtera app. Guests from EMCO (enhanced movement control order) areas are not permitted to stay at the hotel. To comply with this regulation, all guests checking in are required to provide proof of full vaccination in the form of MySejahtera digital certification. For vaccines with two doses, guests will be considered fully vaccinated after the 14th day of receiving the second dose. For single-dose vaccines, guests will be considered fully vaccinated 28 days after receiving the vaccine. Guest are only allowed to travel with non-vaccinated dependents who are 18 years old and under if they are members of the same household.
